A website is often the first thing people see of you. For us, a custom website means starting from what you want to say and to whom. Not from a template the content then gets crammed into somehow.
We design and build websites that look good, load fast and are easy to manage. Presentation sites, company websites, landing pages and sites connected to other systems.
Content and typography first
A good website stands on its content. First we get clear on what the site should say, to whom, and what the visitor should do. Only then do we deal with the look. You don’t need finished copy or a structure: we’ll help you create them.
We care about typography more than most web studios. We run our own type foundry, so we know how much the typeface and the typesetting shape how a site feels and reads.
Fast, findable, accessible
A site that loads slowly loses visitors before they read anything. We build with an emphasis on performance, clean code and the technical basics that search engines appreciate, and so do people with all kinds of devices and needs.
A well-built structure, fast loading and clear content are the foundation of being found in search engines. Not extra tricks.
It matters just as much that the site works for everyone. Readable type, enough contrast, sensible control from the keyboard and on a phone. Accessibility isn’t an add-on for special cases. It’s the mark of a job done well, and people appreciate it even when they don’t consciously notice it.
How a website gets made
Content and structure. We get clear on who the site is for, what it should say and where it should lead the visitor. We propose the page structure. More gets decided here than you’d think. A well-thought-out structure is half the battle: visitors quickly find what they’re looking for, and search engines understand what the site is about.
Design. The look, the typography and how the site behaves. You see it before we start coding, and you can comment on it.
Build. We build the site, fill it with content and test it on different devices.
Launch. We handle the move from the old site so that no addresses people and search engines already know get lost.
A site you manage yourself
We design the site so you can handle everyday content changes yourself, without a developer. And if you want more, we’re here.
The source code and documentation belong to you. You don’t depend on us. You can hand the site to another supplier or your own team at any time.
When a website isn’t enough
Sometimes a website turns into something more. A client area, orders, bookings, a connection to the warehouse system or the CRM. At that point it’s no longer a website but a web application. We do both, and we know where the line is.
If the site needs to pull data from other systems or send data to them, we’ll take care of the integrations. And after launch we can keep running the site for you as part of operations and maintenance.
Who it’s for
For small businesses that want a website without agency fuss. For mid-sized companies and enterprises that need a site connected to their systems. The scope follows what you really need.
