The developer is selling dozens of apartments in several buildings and wanted buyers to be able to pick one and reserve it right there on the website. An apartment that is already gone must never look available.
Always up to date
For every apartment, the website shows whether it is available, reserved or sold. The status is loaded live, so the moment a salesperson confirms a reservation, anyone browsing sees it.
An online reservation holds the apartment for five days. If two people try to reserve the same one at the same time, only the first succeeds. Both the buyer and the sales team get an email.
An admin for sales, not for programmers
The sales team manages buildings, apartments, floor plans, apartment detail pages and photos themselves. They confirm, cancel or extend reservations and log anyone who rings up straight into the system. They can make bulk changes, import and export, and see who changed what. Every change shows up on the website by itself.
Built around how people actually choose
Choosing an apartment starts on a visualisation of the building, where you click a floor, and continues with the layout. We adjusted this path to match how people really used the website.
We also put the system through a security review before launch. With reservation fees running to hundreds of thousands of crowns, that’s not a nice-to-have. It’s the job.
