Technology consulting. You leave knowing what to do.

We help you decide what to invest in, what to buy and what to leave alone. No sales tricks and no needless projects.

Technology consulting should end with a decision, not another document for the drawer. So our IT consulting ends with you knowing what to build, what to buy, what to drop and what to invest in. And understanding why.

We don’t sell licences, and we’re not an agency that needs to turn every problem into a new project. We look for the most sensible route to the result. Sometimes that’s new software, sometimes changing a process is enough. And sometimes we’ll recommend doing nothing at all.

What we help with

Technology decisions have a long reach. A badly chosen system can hold you back for years. We mostly help with these questions:

If you need someone to look after technology decisions long term, take a look at the fractional CTO service.

You talk to the people who then do the work

With us, the advice comes from the same people who then design the solution and write the code.

That has a practical upshot: our recommendations take into account how things really get built and run. We don’t advise from behind a desk. We know what developing a web application involves, what maintenance costs and where projects tend to get stuck.

How consulting works

We start by letting you explain what’s bothering you. You don’t need a finished brief or to know what kind of solution you’re after. That’s our job.

Then we look at how your company really works. Which systems you use, where time gets lost, what people work around in Excel. Only then do we propose options. Usually more than one, with the benefits, risks and costs clearly set out.

The decision is always yours. We make sure you make it with all the facts.

When to get in touch

People come to us for consulting at similar moments. The company has grown and the systems can’t keep up. A supplier is proposing a big project and you don’t know whether it’s really needed. An old system is on its last legs and nobody knows what should replace it. Or you’re about to invest in a digital product and want to be sure you’re building the right thing.

The same rule applies in every case: a decision is cheaper to get right at the start than to fix after a year of development.

Who it’s for

We consult for small businesses that have no IT department and need someone they can trust. For mid-sized companies growing faster than their systems. For enterprises that need an independent view from outside.

The scope follows what you really need, not the size of your company. It can be one consultation or a long-term working relationship.

What you get from us

A clear recommendation you understand. Not a slide deck full of acronyms. If you decide to go ahead, we can do the work, or help you choose and manage another supplier. The documentation and everything we create for you belongs to you.

Questions people ask

Do we need a finished brief?

No. Just describe what’s bothering you or what you want to improve. We’ll write the brief together.

Will you always recommend new software?

No. Often the best option is to use what you already have, or to change how you work. We recommend new software only when you can’t do without it.

Can you help us choose a supplier?

Yes. We’ll help you compare offers, ask suppliers the right questions and make sure you get what you ordered.

How much does technology consulting cost?

It depends on the scope. A one-off consultation is a different thing from long-term guidance. Get in touch and we’ll agree what makes sense.

Got something worth solving?

Tell us what’s bothering you. We’ll meet in Prague, Brno, Olomouc or online and work out the rest together.
